Academy Hockey is split into two programs: Hockey Skills 4-6 and Hockey Skills 7-10. Programs will operate out of the Design Works Centre. The hockey skills academy is taught by Head Coach Chris Schmidt. Hockey athletes work on individual skill development. Coach Chris who has extensive coaching experience in our community hails from Beaverlodge and spent his professional hockey career between the NHL, AHL and European professional leagues. He competed in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics as a member of Germany's National Hockey team.
Academy hockey is for players at a variety of skill levels.

Grade 4-6: Tuesday/Thursday 12:15pm-1:45pm. Transportation provided both ways.
Grade 7-10: Monday/Wednesday 8:00am-9:30am. Parents drop off and bus pick up.
Tuition for 2023-2024: $2800/yr
Grades 4-6: $2800/yr
Grades 7-10: $2800/yr
Includes: Academy Jersey/socks, Academy off ice clothing ($50), instruction, ice rental and transportation.
Program offerings are dependent on meeting minimum enrollment numbers.
