Peace Collaborative Services (PCS) PCS is a regional collaborative service delivery system coordinating support for six Northwest Alberta school jurisdictions, including the Grande Prairie Public School Division.
They have created a bursary program to assist individuals in attaining their master’s degrees in education rehabilitation services.
The Specalist Bursary Program is prioritized for individuals in the second and last years of their respective master's degree program at an accredited university.
Qualifying master's degrees include:
- MSc Physical Therapy
- MSc Occupational Therapy
- MSc Speech-Language Therapy
- MA/MSc Psychology
- MEd Educator Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- MEd Educator Blind and Visually Impaired
PCS will grant up to $3000 annually to cover costs directly associated with the program with the following conditions:
- Master's degree program completed as a full-time student
- Successful applicants must sign a one-year Return of Service Agreement with PCS
