The Board of Trustees for the Grande Prairie Public School Division (GPPSD) supports second language learning initiatives.
French as a Second Language instruction is mandatory for GPPSD students in grades 4-6.
French Immersion is offered at École Montrose for students in Preschool and Kindergarten to Grade 8. The school also offers Late Entry French Immersion for Grade 5 students.
